I am Chris Evans; part designer and part
developer, currently at FutureGov working as a Product Designer. I am an eager generalist and love getting involved in a wide range of challenging and different disciplines. I have a keen interest in the advanced web, physical computing, and everything in between. I am a First Class Honours graduate of the highly acclaimed BSc (Hons) Digital Art and Technology degree; specialising in Interaction Design during my final year. After spending six months travelling around the world I moved to London where I started work at FutureGov.

After graduating I worked in Worcester as the Lead Web Designer & Developer for Modus Digital; a small digital agency partnered with a creative agency and print shop. While there I lead the design and development of many high profile client websites.

In my spare time I mentor and coach students who are learning design online at trydesignlab.com. I critic and provide valuable feedback on my students work, and I also discuss their work, and design in general, via allocated video chat sessions.

On my industrial placement I was part of a small start-up of 11 students. My role was designer & developer, where I worked on a range of projects from commercial websites, iPhone apps, physical computing, print design, managing staff & organising conferences.
